Full financial support is available for highly qualified Ph.D. students to join our research team. Current research activities in the laboratory concentrate on polymer, metal and metal oxide nanofibers; rheology of complex fluids; smart materials; interaction of fluids with solids and heat transfer characteristics at different length scales. Significant expertise in fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer and materials science exists in the laboratory, which deals with phenomena corresponding to a wide range of scales (approximately from 1 nm to 1 m). Several PhD students and a postdoc are presently working in the laboratory.

We are seeking independent/inquisitive thinkers with superior experimental skills to participate in all operational aspects of our research laboratory. Candidates with understanding of organic and inorganic chemistry are highly encouraged to apply. The positions offer a monthly stipend of US$1,875, full tuition, and standard graduate student benefits (annual value exceeding US $45,000).
